Thanks to the use of Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI – Genus Focus), laying hens meet the requirements of the German market. Germany was the first country in the world to ban the killing of male chicks on the day of hatching. Although this ban has not yet been introduced in the Netherlands, many additional obligations related to OKT have arisen over the years. Thanks to the above-mentioned technology for determining gender, we can scan both white and brown eggs before the 13th day of incubation, as well as eggs from young and older flocks. Thanks to the machine park consisting of 5 MRI scanners, we can fulfill an order of up to 250 thousand chicks in one week.
